A.Hak invests in cable drum trailer

1 April 2019

A.Hak Electron, our specialist in laying underground medium and high voltage cables, proudly presents the first photos of the new cable drum trailer. A robust piece of equipment with which A.Hak can process cable drums up to a total weight of 30 tons.

Cable drums are getting wider and wider. A big advantage of this traileris that it is adjustable in width and can therefore also handle the wider drums. Because the equipment is designed for fast traffic, it can be transported over public roads, provided the width of the reel allows this.

Help from a crane for loading and unloading the drums is not necessary because of the self-loading function. Furthermore, the loaded drum is powered, so that cables can be wound up and unwound.
